Thank you for all of your generous nominations for the Giving Is Awesome campaign.  I have chosen a winner through a random drawing, as I could never be responsible for making a decision as to who was "most in need".  Congratulations to Melanie, nominated by Elizabeth!  I wish all families a new year that brings them joy, love and happiness.

And we’re back!

I hope that everyone had a fabulous holiday!  I have had entirely too much fudge and will have to remove it all from my house immediatley.    I was back to work this afternoon, photographing the most beautiful little girl.  My Dad always says, "she is a living doll", about beautiful children, and women for that matter.  This little one, is truly "a living doll".

My husband and I just returned from a much needed honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta where we sat on the beach for a whole week!!  Here are a few shots from our point and shoot that I love, (yes, those are my feet   The sunsets were GORGEOUS!

Photographers around the world are being challenged by the thoughtfulness of Kristen Kalp of Essential Imagery though her Giving Is Awesome campaign.  Her gracious intentions, are to give the gift of custom
photography to someone who may be very deserving but unable to afford
so.  I am honored to take part in such a kind gesture that allows people, all over the world, to have such an opportunity. 

I will use some of Kristen words here:

You know someone.

You know someone who's experienced a
tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more
than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal
circumstances. You know someone who can't afford custom photography, but who
would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a
year-round reminder of their family's spirit, love, and beauty.

You know someone. I guarantee it.

I want to know who they are, and I want to give them the
chance to experience complimentary custom photography – $1600 worth, to
be exact. Someone will receive a print package, an album, all of their digital files, and a slideshow to
watch over and over.  It's in your power to give them the artwork
they deserve this holiday season.

Oh, and the best part? The person who nominates the
winner receives a $250 print credit. What better reason to show some love
could there possibly be, people?

The rules:

* You cannot nominate yourself, and the person nominated must
sincerely be incapable of purchasing my services. 

* The nominee must reside in Arizona, in the Phoenix area. Tell me who
you know, what they're experiencing, and why they deserve my artwork. Please
include a way to contact both your nominee and yourself as well.

* You must e-mail me the full story : photography@pamelanicole.com before midnight on December 30th.

The winner will be announced on New Year's Day — get
